` Ominous because they're leading up to my trip to the Art Museum ...which took place just before the 9/11 attacks - double-ominous!
` And yet, they are kinda mundane and dull. For example, this legion of evil rabbits on their way to laying waste to some kingdom or other....
` ...Too bad I didn't finish that idea, instead preferring to draw this:
` It sure is easier to work on things that are in front of you instead of trying to hold an idea in your mind. At least when you have severe attention deficit disorder.
` Now, I actually tried out SlimFast, partly because I was too damn fat and partly because I was too lazy to eat. As paradoxical as that seems.
` I know it's hard to believe I was once fat (especially after seeing this), but at the time I'm telling you, I was constantly 'outgrowing' all my pants!
` On the next page, we find another one of those animal puzzles, TV cameras from my Tri-C acting class (in which the only acting instruction was 'just do it' with no critique or anything!) and this guy named Phil's insane and scary relatives 'John Baron' and PsychoGrandma.
` To make this post more interesting, I might as well tell you some of the reasons I would call someone PsychoGrandma. One is that, when Phil was a baby, she took all his clothes off and brought him out in the snow after a blizzard and refused to bring him back inside!
` Even more creepy, when Phil was learning to walk, she broke the lock off the knife drawer, bent some kitchen knives at a right angle, and then opened the bottom drawer and put the knives in so they stuck straight up in the air! Apparently she was hoping baby would impale himself!
` She's done tons of other things like putting a string of paper towels right up to the burner of the gas stove while it was on 'high', and it had almost caught on fire before anyone noticed! She also had the malice to scare the hell out of one unfortunate soul while they were holding a huge pot of boiling water, resulting in severe burns!
` ...And of course there was that one time as a child when she allegedly burned down her own home, killing her sister and parents.
` As you can plainly tell, I do not call people psychos without good reason!
` Poor Hoochie! The dog had been found tied to a pole after a severe thunderstorm, so he's always had an extreme fear of them. While I was trying to draw him (in vain, it seems) the rain was lashing down, the thunder was roaring and the power was going on and off. Needless to say he was a bit scared, and I think he eventually hid under the bed.
` Really, though, his main enemy turned out to be 'John Baron' (PsychoGrandma's son), whom I thought needed a little adornment.
` This is actually a sketch of the inside of Tri-C (or Cuyahoga Community College). In a large part of the building, the roof is one huge skylight and there are also small lions occasionally lounging about.
` Or not.
` Aaaand the last page before the art museum; see, there's a foreshadowing arrow on the right....
` So we have this guy named Ron. He had a cool sword and dragony stuff (I even made him a dragon sculpture) and if you'll notice, a gift from Phil's PsychoGrandma.
` Yes, though she had tons of money, she would simply give Phil and his family the crappiest little gifts and make such a big deal out of them as if she was giving them all Ferraris. I'm serious.
` This woman is insane. Of course, this is mostly due to the fact that her husband always refused to let her take her medication. So glad I'll never see them again. And so is Phil's mom, who was the victim of the boiling water spillage and a whole lot more!
` Well, I had better go. The Omininity is driving me insane. That, and I have tons of homework.

Holy crap! That is the scariest grandma I've ever heard of! I would hate to be her grandkid!
Great drawings, also. I would have liked to see where you were going with the evil rabbits!
'Slim Fast' cans? Where have I seen that type of thing before...
